Hi, I’m Rachel. Welcome to my blog! The theme here will likely surround subjects such as everyday life, business, self-education, marketing, and whatever other crazy stuff falls out of my brain. You can’t see me, but if you get to know me, you’ll find that starting this blog is my way of sharing my experiences to encourage you through this journey we call Life. If you’re interested in being an entrepreneur, want to learn a new skill, or just need some company from fellow humans, this blog is worth bookmarking.

Why start a blog?

That’s a great question! The truth is, I should have started one a long time ago. All those memories and experiences I could have recorded with my kids are now just floating in my head. I suppose being forced to journal in high school bored me out of wanting to write. It’s funny; I have even spent a portion of my career as a paid blog writer, but never established my own blog.

So why start a blog now? As of this writing, I’m approaching my 48th birthday. My kids are grown and I’m happily single. That being said, I’m not as “needed” as I once was as a single mom. With more time on my hands, I’m able and wanting to write and run my own business again (more on that later). I also want to be able to share real life matters with people I might never see in-person and give them a place to share with me. Some of my most treasured connections were made over FaceTime and the Internet. I’m finally taking the leap into adventures I didn’t previously have time to discover. And now that I can, I want to record my journey to share with anyone who could be inspired, or motivated, or impressed in a way that you can start to transform your own life.

Like anyone else who is breathing, I have endured some setbacks along with some notable victories in this life, and I want to make my experiences available so others might not struggle as hard or as long as I have. Or maybe you’ll just take comfort in knowing life is hard for everyone, but there are people out here who care about you, and you can overcome everyday challenges and live well, despite your upbringing or social status. Starting a blog is my way to connect with a disconnected world.

The Future of Rachel Bieri

Where will we go from here? The answer is, only God knows! But I am busy making plans. I’m actually crazy enough to have started three websites at the same time – this one, Sandbox Marketing, and Ascend SEO Co. Hey, don’t judge me! Right now all three sites look like they fell off the web design table, but it’s part of my process. I’m a natural-born optimizer, but the way I get to optimization is through sloppy thinking. I mean, my head is all over the place when I start a project. And without a college education, I have just learned to teach myself through experimentation. It’s actually worked in my favor and I’ll definitely be sharing about how you can teach yourself to do anything.

Launching three websites at the same time is kind of like having three babies at once (ok, not AT ALL like having 3 babes at the same time), but it’s the sandbox I use to develop skills for communication and tactics to grow my business (and yours!). If I’m being completely honest, I launched RachelBieri.com to maintain my sanity in a world that is increasingly online and personally disconnected. I love people, but life and circumstance separates us, and I just have an innate determination to find those who feel lost on planet earth.

RachelBieri.com is a place to connect with people like you. Whether you’re looking for business tips or a way to relate with someone else who understands, I’m making myself vulnerable and available in any way I can to do right by you. While I intend to link to products and services that I find to be beneficial, this blog is really just a place to be real. After not writing much for over 20 years, there’s a lot of pent up stuff to write about! I hope to spill out all the crazy business ideas I have discovered that actually work, personal challenges and wins, and whatever else it takes to connect with the human race and encourage you along the journey.
